Custom Metal Railings & Decorative Paneling in Dallas
Architecture you actually want to look at.
We design and fabricate custom stair railings, balcony rails, and decorative metal paneling in our Dallas studio, and install them throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Every railing is built by hand to fit your staircase exactly — not adapted from a catalog system — in blackened steel, brass, bronze, stainless, or a combination your home hasn’t seen before. If your staircase is meant to be the centerpiece of the house, this is the work we love most.
- ✦
Stair railings
Modern and traditional, from minimalist blackened-steel balusters to brass-and-glass systems like the ones we built for a Highland Park residence.
- ✦
Cable railings
Stainless cable systems for stairs and balconies where the view matters more than the rail.
- ✦
Balcony & loft rails
Interior and exterior guardrails that match the rest of the home’s metalwork.
- ✦
Decorative wall paneling
Perforated, patinated, or patterned metal panels for feature walls, islands, and ceilings.
- ✦
Privacy & feature screens
Laser- and hand-cut screens for stairwells, patios, and room dividers.
Materials and finishes
Blackened steel, polished or antiqued brass, bronze with living patina, brushed or mirror stainless, and copper. We finish everything in-house — waxed, lacquered, or powder-coated depending on where the piece lives — and we’ll bring samples to your home or project site so you can see the finish in your own light.
Recent railing work in Dallas
Recent commissions include brass-and-glass stair rails for a Highland Park residence, a stainless cable staircase, and a decorative screen and planter box in Preston Hollow. See the full portfolio on our Projects page — each project lists its neighborhood, materials, and finish.
How a railing commission works
We start with an in-home measurement and a conversation about how the staircase should feel. You’ll review sketches and a physical mock-up before anything is fabricated, then we build the railing in our Dallas shop and install it ourselves. Most railing commissions run six to ten weeks from design approval to installation. All work is engineered and built to comply with applicable residential codes.
A note on shipping
Railings are built to fit your exact space, so we install these locally in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. For projects outside the region, reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.
Frequently asked
- How much does a custom metal railing cost in Dallas?
- Every railing is priced from the design: length, material, and complexity drive the number. We’ll give you a firm quote after an in-home measurement — there’s no charge for the initial consultation.
- How long does a custom railing take?
- Plan on six to ten weeks from approved design to installed railing. Measurement and design typically take the first two weeks; fabrication and finishing take the rest. If you’re coordinating with a builder or remodel schedule, tell us your date and we’ll work backward from it.
- Do you install outside of Dallas?
- We install railings and paneling throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Plano, Frisco, Southlake, and Fort Worth. For projects beyond DFW, we can fabricate for shipment and coordinate with your installer.
- Can you match an existing railing or design from a photo?
- Yes. Bring us a photo, a Pinterest board, or a fragment of the original ironwork. We regularly extend or reproduce existing railings and can match patinas and profiles so the new work reads as original to the house.
