Custom Metal Sculpture & Commissioned Art in Dallas
Original artwork and commissioned pieces in steel, copper, and bronze.
Artisan Metal Studios creates commissioned metal sculpture in Dallas — original works for private homes, statement pieces for commercial lobbies, and fabrication partnerships with artists and designers who need their vision executed in steel, bronze, brass, or copper. Our recent work includes sculptural commissions for Dallas residences and a commercial lobby installation.

From maquette to installation
Sculpture commissions begin with a conversation about the space — scale, sightlines, light — followed by sketches and, for larger works, a scale maquette. We engineer for weight and mounting (including anchoring, footings, or suspension), fabricate and finish in our Dallas studio, and install the finished work ourselves throughout Dallas–Fort Worth.
For businesses and public spaces
A lobby sculpture does what no sign can: it tells visitors who you are before anyone speaks. We work with property owners, corporate art consultants, and architects on pieces for offices, hotels, restaurants, and outdoor sites — durable materials, engineered mounting, and finishes chosen for the setting.
How a sculpture commission works
For commissions, we start with your space, your concept, or both. We’ll sketch options, agree on a direction, and build. Pricing and timeline vary by scale — reach out and we’ll talk it through.

Frequently asked
- How much does a commissioned sculpture cost?
- Sculpture is priced per work — scale, material, and engineering drive the budget. Large architectural or corporate works are quoted from drawings. The initial consultation and concept conversation are free.
- Do you work with outside artists?
- Yes — fabrication for artists is a core part of the studio. We can work from drawings, 3D files, or maquettes, and we’re comfortable letting the artist’s name lead while we handle the metal.
- Can a sculpture live outdoors in Texas weather?
- Yes, with the right material and finish. Corten and weathering steels, bronze, and stainless all age well outdoors; we choose the alloy and finish for sun, rain, and irrigation exposure, and engineer footings for wind. We’ll be direct about what a Texas summer will do to any finish you’re considering.
