Custom Metal Furniture, Made in Dallas
Tables, bar tops, and statement pieces built from steel, copper, and brass.
Artisan Metal Studios builds custom metal furniture by hand in Dallas, Texas — dining tables, desks, bar tops, consoles, benches, and one-off statement pieces in blackened steel, brass, bronze, and copper, often paired with wood, stone, or glass. If you’ve been searching for a piece that doesn’t exist in any showroom, we’ll design it with you and build it twenty minutes from your door.

If it’s furniture and it’s metal, we can build it.
Why custom beats the showroom
A production table is built to a price point. A commissioned piece is built to a room: your dimensions, your finish, your hardware, welds you’ll never see, and a patina that catches your light. Because we design and fabricate under one roof in Dallas, you can visit the shop mid-build and see your piece take shape.
How a furniture commission works
Send us a sketch, a Pinterest board, or a few sentences. We’ll respond with a design direction and estimate, refine it with you through drawings and material samples, then fabricate and finish the piece in our studio. Most furniture commissions run six to ten weeks from design approval, with white-glove delivery and placement anywhere in the Dallas–Fort Worth area — and crated shipping beyond it.
For homes and businesses alike
We’ve built dining tables for private residences and full booth sets for restaurants. The craftsmanship doesn’t change — only the scale.

Frequently asked
- What does custom metal furniture cost?
- It depends on size, material, and complexity — a steel console is a different project than a bronze dining table for twelve. We provide a firm quote after the first design conversation, and the consultation is free.
- Can you work with my designer or architect?
- Yes — much of our work comes through Dallas interior designers and architects. We can work from your drawings or develop shop drawings for approval, and we’re comfortable being specified into larger projects with builders and GCs.
- Do you combine metal with wood or stone?
- Constantly. Steel-and-walnut tables, brass-and-glass shelving, stone tops on bronze bases — we fabricate the metalwork in-house and partner with trusted local woodworkers and stone fabricators for the rest, so you get one point of contact for the whole piece.
- How do I care for a patinated finish?
- Living finishes like blackened steel and patinated bronze are sealed with wax or lacquer and need only occasional re-waxing — we’ll show you how at delivery, and we offer refinishing if a piece ever needs it. Brass and copper can be kept bright or allowed to age; that’s a design choice we’ll make together.
